I suppose there is something to be said for the Catholic Church's consistency in protecting itself rather than the victims of abuse.

Memories of the 1980s
It's funny, but when I think back to the 1980s my memories always play like a John Hughes movie with a Simple Minds soundtrack. Rest in peace John Hughes—you will be missed.
