Maggie decided to flex her architectural muscles this afternoon. Finished the second of several possible structures in the Lego set she received for Christmas.
My Thoughts on the iPad
Although I have on not seen or played with Apple's new iPad, conceptually I find it very appealing. Now I am fully aware of the criticisms:
1. DRM (of course this applies to Kindle/Nook stores)
2. e-Ink is better for reading/easier on the eyes/can be seen in direct sunlight.

Akron Councilman Jim Hurley (D-Ward 1) and the Non-Discrination Ordinance
My letter to the editor of the Akron Beacon Journal regarding my councilman's view that his religious convictions allow him to vote against legislation that bars the City of Akron from discriminating in hiring on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. Needless to say, Councilman Hurley will not be getting my vote in the next . . .
